However, he'll have to compete with established players like Andrew Marsh and J.J. Buchanan. What many people don't realize is that Ffrench has already faced stiff competition, and he'll need to step up his game to prove himself. Finally, there's quarterback Bryce Underwood, who has more to prove than anyone else on the roster. Underwood showed some positive flashes in 2025, but he hit a wall and fell into bad habits, including poor footwork and decision-making. What makes this especially interesting is that Underwood has learned from the best, training with Joe Burrow this offseason. While it won't translate into a 2019 LSU-like season, more consistency and a good grasp of the new offensive scheme should help Underwood get closer to his sky-high potential. In my opinion, the three players have a lot to prove, and their success will be crucial to Michigan's offensive turnaround. It's a make-or-break season for them, and the pressure is on. But what makes this story even more compelling is the fact that these players are young and have a lot of potential. It will be fascinating to see how they handle the challenges ahead and whether they can live up to the hype.
